Welcome to the North Side Community School.
We are an elementary (K-5) charter public school opening on the North Side of the City of St. Louis at 3033 North Euclid in August, 2009. We are enrolling students for kindergarten and first grade for our first year, and will be adding one grade each year thereafter through the fifth grade.
On Friday, March 26, the Missouri State Board of Education officially chartered North Side Community School to begin operations for the 2009-2010 academic year, as a Local Education Authority (LEA) charter public school.
We are proud to have the University of Missouri-St. Louis as our sponsor and partner. With their help and guidance, we pledge to continually push to be a better school for our students, their families, and our community.
We are located at 3033 North Euclid, on a beautiful nine-acre campus between Euclid and Kingshighway, filled with trees and two beautiful playgrounds. During our opening year our entire operation will be held in the main building on the campus, the Activity Center. In this modern building, there are classrooms, a very large gymnasium, a kitchen, dining area, and meeting rooms. Already wired for the Internet and telephone use, our facility is ready to go!
