What To Know
We are pleased that you are interested in enrolling your child at our school. North Side is a public charter school, open and free to children residing in the City of St. Louis. We offer a rigorous curriculum for students in grades Pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Enrollment is now open for new families. Current families are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible at school.
Any student in kindergarten through 8th grade enrolled at North Side Community School can opt to take a course virtually through the Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP), organized through Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). You may contact your principal for help in accessing this process or refer to the family handbook.

Admission for the Current School Year:
1. Parent/Guardian completes an Application and provides proof of residency (2 documents).
2. The Application and Proof of Residency is submitted to Administrative Services for processing.
3. If the grade level is full and there is a Waiting List the student is placed on the waiting list. Open seats are filled from the Waiting List in order of receipt.
4. If there are open seats, Administrative Services will provide the Parent/Guardian an Enrollment Packet for completion.
Pre-K students MUST be 4 years of age by July 31, 2025 in order to enroll.
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will open on November 1st, 2024.
