Position Overview

The Summer Street Team Member represents North Side Community School (NSCS) at community events, pop-ups, and outreach opportunities throughout the summer. This role supports enrollment efforts by sharing information about the school, engaging with families, and strengthening community awareness of NSCS programs and mission.

Street Team Members serve as positive, welcoming ambassadors of NSCS and play an important role in connecting prospective families with the school’s enrollment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend community events, festivals, and outreach opportunities (including evenings and weekends)
• Share information about NSCS enrollment, programs, and school culture
• Engage with families and community members in a professional and welcoming manner
• Help connect interested families directly with the enrollment team
• Distribute school marketing and enrollment materials at assigned locations
• Represent NSCS positively at all times in the community
• Support outreach efforts aimed at increasing awareness and enrollment
• Assist with event setup, engagement, and breakdown as needed
• Follow guidance from the Street Team Coordinator and school leadership

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with families and community members
• Passion for education and community engagement
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Prior experience in outreach, customer service, or community engagement is a plus (not required)
