Elementary Classroom Teacher

Position Summary

North Side Community School is seeking passionate, certified full-time Classroom Teachers. We are looking for educators who excel at creating nurturing, high-engagement learning environments and who demonstrate strong instructional and classroom management skills.

Compensation & Key Benefits

• Starting Salary: Minimum $52,000 for degreed and certified teachers

• Onboarding Bonus: $5,000 stipend awarded at the end of the first school year

Essential Functions

• Culture: Build a warm, inclusive classroom where students feel safe to take academic risks

• Instruction: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to diverse learning needs

• Management: Implement a positive behavior plan with clear routines that maximize instructional time

• Assessment: Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide instruction and monitor student progress

• Communication: Maintain strong, transparent relationships with parents regarding student growth

• Professionalism: Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide stewardship

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)

• Certification: Valid Missouri state teaching certificate (or eligibility to receive one)
